Biodiesel from Fuel Crops in Hawaii Project

Location: Hawaii

This project will explore and evaluate a number of crop materials currently grown in Hawaii to determine their suitability as feedstock for making biodiesel. The purpose of this project is to develop an understanding of the quality and yield of biodiesel produced from a variety of local feedstock sources, and the utility and economic value of their byproducts.
